Industrial Painter

Do you have experience as an industrial painter working in industrial and manufacturing settings? Do you have experience working with GRACO and other paint mixing systems and pressurized paint pots? If so, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

• Proper cleaning and maintenance of all painting equipment.
• Paint various sized and shaped parts using the proper techniques.
• Experience using electrostatic and traditional paint guns.
• Masking, sanding and touch up.
• All required painting prep work including material cleanup (metal sanding etc.) prior to paint.
• Experience with painting fabricated metal parts a plus.
• Understanding and willingness to take ownership of paint booth and equipment. Following all safety and proper cleaning and maintenance guidelines.
• Understanding of mil thickness and hatch testing for adhesion a plus.
• Forklift and powered pallet jack operation a plus, certification and training available in house.

Requirements:

• Must be able to stand in a booth with protective gear for up to 9 hours a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work while wearing respirator and protective clothing up to 9 hours per day.
• Must pass pulmonary function test and respirator fit test.
