Direct Counsel, LLC has partnered with a boutique employment law firm in Los Angeles who is seeking Labor Employment Associates with experience in plaintiff-side cases, specifically under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). These associates will play a critical role in advocating for employees facing workplace disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage issues. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in litigation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) and other employment-related claims.
• Conduct thorough investigations and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and client correspondence.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategic case development, trial preparation, and client communications.
• Engage in legal research and provide clients with informed and strategic legal advice.
• Mentor junior associates and paralegals within the team.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in relevant plaintiff-side employment law, with a combination of associate and paralegal experience considered valuable.
• Proven track record in handling complex employment cases, particularly under FEHA.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to a client-focused approach and a passion for advocating for employee rights.

Compensation:
The annual compensation range for these positions are between $120,000 - $180,000 annually plus discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
