\n \n\n \nSchedule: 7am- 7:30pm (Sat/Sun 24hrs)
\n \n\n \nShift : Day
\n \n\n \nThe community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Central Texas
\n \n\n \nGENERAL SUMMARY:
\n \n\n \nPerforms MRI imaging procedures. Assist Radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical history. Performs darkroom, clerical and transport functions. Participates in standby call. Performs basic patient care with scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in Radiology Department as needed. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
\n \n\n \nPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
\n \n\n \nPerforms MRI imaging procedures.
\n \n\n \nMaintains records of examinations performed.
\n \n\n \nObtains and documents patient clinical history and explains procedure.
\n \n\n \nPositions patients and equipment, and selects technical factors to produce procedure images and data as needed to meet radiologist standards.
\n \n\n \nSends images to QC station and then to PACS and archives images
\n \n\n \nEnters patient demographic information into logs and system.
\n \n\n \nTransports, lifts, moves and positions patients as needed to obtain images, transport patient to/from department, table or as otherwise needed for patient care.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
\n \n\n \nMust be a graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. program with current A.R.R.T registration and state license in Radiography.
\n \n\n \nMRI registered or one-year experience.
\n \n\n \nLicensure by the ARRT in MRI required.
\n \n\n \nTwo years CT/MR experience required.
\n \n\n \nTwo years of CT experience is needed for entry level MRI position if no previous MRI experience.
\n \n\n \nTexas State MRT license.
\n \n\n \nMRI registered or one-year experience.
\n \n\n \nLicensure by the ARRT in MRI required.
\n \n\n \nBLS required
