I am looking for an experienced Packaging Engineer to join our team and to develop various packaging concepts in coordination with finished products and materials used and ensure compatibility of packaging with manufacturing unit. This role supports packaging needs for both new and existing products, ensuring compliance, functionality, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop packaging concepts, components, and specifications that meet quality, cost, and performance targets. Create and maintain packaging documentation including bills of materials (BOMs), component specifications, and assembly instructions. Conduct testing and validation to ensure packaging integrity, container/closure performance, and compliance with regulatory standards (21 CFR parts 201, 210, 211). Lead packaging trials and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to drive successful implementation. Investigate new materials and technologies to improve performance, sustainability, and manufacturability. Troubleshoot packaging issues related to materials, design, or equipment. Review and approve labeling and artwork to ensure accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 2–8 years of experience in packaging design or development, ideally within a regulated or pharmaceutical setting. Solid understanding of packaging materials, design principles, and testing standards (ASTM, TAPPI). Proficient in CAD and 2D drawing creation; familiarity with packaging equipment and validation protocols. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
