The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (DARE) centers its research, teaching and outreach activities in defined areas of excellence: agricultural education, agribusiness management and finance, livestock systems, consumer choice and the economics of water, land and environment. Position Summary
The department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals who are interested in obtaining research positions within the department. The open position may be a temporary, special, or regular Research Associate II assignment and may be for limited time periods. This is an open pool, and applications will be forwarded to open positions as they become available.
Required Job Qualifications - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent specialized experience and/or training in Agricultural Economics or Forestry. Additional required qualifications, rank and salary determined by specific position to be filled.
- Level II includes individuals with an RAI + 3 years experience or bachelor’s degree + 3 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree.
- The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the department will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
