Job Description & RequirementsHiring Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Position: Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (13 Weeks) Radius Rule: Must live 100 miles or more from the facility
License Requirement: Active NYS RN license
Required Certifications:
• BLS
• NRP
Required Clinical Skills:
• Ability to perform vaginal examinations
• Ability to circulate C-sections
• Ability to recover patients post–spinal anesthesia
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles with the ability to provide high-quality patient care
• Ability to assess and support patients’ clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
• Understanding and adherence to safety procedures, including proper use of lifts and safe patient handling
Additional Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
