REMOTE COMMISSION-BASED RECRUITER

$70,000 - $130,000+

Are you a food and restaurant lover? If so, join this growing boutique recruiting agency with a focus on hospitality, food, and food tech recruiting. This is a full-time, 100% commission-based role, with no base salary and no benefits.

Who Our Clients Are:

Our clients range from single-unit restaurant and hotel owners to corporations with hundreds of units. We also work with contract dining firms, food producers/wholesalers, and food tech clients.

Qualifications:

You are currently or formerly one of the following:

  • District Manager, Director level or above in an upscale, full-service restaurant, hotel or retail group OR
  • Recruiting Manager or Director with a 3rd party recruiting agency, with strong preference for Restaurant, Hotel and/or Retail recruiting experience

AND

  • Live or have lived in in a major US restaurant city for 3+ years, e.g., SF, LA, NY, CHI, DC, Dallas/Austin/Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Miami/Tampa/Orlando, ATL, BOS, Philly, Las Vegas AND
  • Dine out at upscale full-service fine-dining or "date" restaurants frequently. Michelin star restaurant experience or dining a plus

AND are:

  • Authorized to work in the United States and currently live in the United States
  • Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus
  • Can work at least 30 hours a week
  • 4 year College graduate (preferred)
  • Very self-motivated, self-driven
  • Organized
  • Articulate. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Empathetic. Good listening skills
  • Loves getting to know others. Is a relationship-builder
  • Has no phone fear
  • Tech-savvy. Can pick up new systems easily
  • Loves to learn new skills. Has a learning orientation
  • Skilled in using MS Word and familiar with Google suite

What We do:

We find qualified and vetted candidates for our clients that meet their specific requirements, focusing on full-time Managers up to and including C-Suite candidates. We will:

  • Source candidates from our own network of candidates, as well as your competitors or other comparable businesses. We specifically prioritize candidates who are not actively searching for a job, as those are more likely to be the candidates who are happy and doing well.
  • Provide the information you need to evaluate the candidate’s qualifications directly on the resume, e.g., prior revenue managed, growth initiatives, acquisitions, new unit openings, etc.
  • Support the team with interview scheduling.
  • Manage the interview process and keep the process moving to help candidates stay excited and engaged, as well as to reduce the possibility of losing candidates to other companies they may be speaking with.
  • Work closely with the candidates to address any concerns or questions they have throughout the process.
  • Check 2-3 direct manager references for each candidate who reaches an offer stage.
  • Support your team with making offers, helping smooth out any last details and increasing the acceptance rate.
  • Offer a 60-day guarantee. If the candidate leaves for any reason within 60 days of their start date, we will replace that candidate for free, once.
